Director/Educational Leader

Cat studied for a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary). She has worked in both early childhood and primary education.

Cat returned to St Scholastica’s Kinder in July 2016 as the 3 and 4 year old kindergarten teacher and director.

She really enjoys working with young children, and finds they are very honest & surprise her every day with their development and abilities.
Cat believes Early Childhood Education helps introduce children to lifelong learning and finds being an early childhood educator is very rewarding.

When she is not working, Cat enjoys spending time with her friends & family, watching sport, mainly football (especially Essendon) & walking her dog Ruby.

3 & 4 Year Old Co-Educator

Annie joined St Scholastica’s Kindergarten in 1982. She enjoys working with all age groups of children. Annie always enjoys getting to know all the children and their families to build a rapport with them.

She completed a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care in 2016. As a mentor of young children, Annie believes humour, enthusiasm and passion make a huge impact as well as a difference in the lives of the children she teaches.
During her time away from kinder, Annie enjoys going to the beach as well as fishing. She spends most weekends during winter at the football watching Collingwood.

3 Year Old Co-Educator
Anne joined St Scholastica’s in 1999. She has a long history with the kinder, as her children attended both the kindergarten and St Scholastica’s Primary School.

Anne believes every child that comes to the kinder has a unique style of learning and a unique personality. To reach all of the children and teach each of them effectively, it’s imperative that these differences are respected.
Away from kinder, Anne spends time with her family, especially her five grandchildren – who love cooking & spending time in the garden planting vegetables & finding bugs.

Katherine has worked as an administrator of the kindergarten for many years, and is also the kindergarten's Licensee.

She is the main point of contact for families regarding enrolment, fees and administration.
Katherine is a qualified secondary school teacher and works as a teaching aid at St Scholastica's Primary School when she is not at the Kindergarten.

Outside of work, Katherine has two children and enjoys spending time with her family. She also likes to keep fit at the gym.
